Just sharing my feeling, my beloved father pass away last year on April 2007 due to road accident which he were knock down by a Malay motorcycle bike driver on his way back home.
After 4 court session, the court, a very very young lady judge force decide that the other party insurance company, Takaful Insurance only need to pay RM3000.00(Ringgit Malaysia: Three thousand only or equivalent to USD: $942.00 only) which beginning offer is suggest the other party is only RM2500.00.
This payment also need to delayed few months.
The lawyer will charge my family, 30%, from the above claim.
The lawyer agent had taken RM1000.00 before begin of the case.
Below is the calculation:
RM3000.00 (Claim will be paid)
RM0000.90 (-, Outstation check charge: 0.50 or 0.03%)
RM0900.00 (-, Lawyer fees: 30%)
RM1000.00 (-, Lawyer agent beginning fees)

RM1099.10 (Balance to my mum on her beloved husband life )
